What We Know and How We Can Help

Even though over 50% of women-owned businesses are owned by Women of Color, we are making pennies. For every dollar that comes to a Women-owned business, Women of Color receive 32 cents. This leads to businesses becoming unsustainable and not reaching their full potential.

Women of Color business owners face a dizzying array of challenges and opportunities when becoming certified or participating in supplier diversity programs. In our journey to close this divide, we have learned many valuable lessons, here are just a few.

Lessons Learned

Certified Access is focused on Growth

When it comes to Women of Color owned businesses, Certified Access is here to level the playing field. Our Certified Access Academy, Summit, and community supports owners in their pursuit to understand procurement and supplier diversity processes.

Our approach to bridging the gap begins with a focus on a growth mindset and then access to credible tools with which to build and sustain strong business relationships and opportunities.

Certified Access Summit

To solidify Women of Color as key players in government and corporation procurement programs, we must have a space to speak, listen, and learn with one another about the barriers and opportunities.

The Certified Access 10x10x10 Summit brings women of color business owners and corporate and government leaders together to challenge the procurement status quo. Session topics are focused on strategies to build impactful supplier diversity programs, unpacking spend data, building intentional partnerships, and so much more.
